FleishmanHillard is a global marketing and public relations agency and a long-standing Brandpoint partner. One of their clients, Emerson Electric, is a manufacturing company that manufactures products and also provides engineering services for industrial, commercial and consumer markets.

Situation

FleishmanHillard came to Brandpoint on behalf of their client, Emerson. Emerson wanted to position themselves as a thought leader in the sustainability industry and grow their credibility as a sustainable brand. Their product, InSinkErator, decreases food waste and Emerson wanted to tell that story while emphasizing the importance of sustainability.

Strategy

The Brandpoint team decided to support Emerson’s goals with the Guaranteed Section Front offering. Brandpoint’s Guaranteed Media Placements offered a wide range of publications to place Emerson’s article in. However, implementing Guaranteed Section Front ensured the article was promoted on the front page of a publication’s business section.
