Giving isn’t always easy. Whether you want to donate your money or volunteer your time, these are resources that can be hard to come by. That’s why Brandpoint has implemented a few benefits to motivate employees to give all year round.
Here are a few ways Brandpoint employees gave back in 2017.
Volunteer PTO
Every employee is given eight hours of PTO time to volunteer. Whether it’s a full day event or just a few hours here and there, Brandpoint employees have the opportunity to use work time to benefit our community.
Though employees may use their volunteer PTO to help any organization of their choice, we also planned group volunteer activities so we could give our time together! Here are a few of the highlights:
Feed My Starving Children
We packed 43 boxes and 7,128 meals – which feeds 19 children for a year!
Matter
We packed boxes of medical supplies to support Matter’s Hospital & Clinic Program, which allows access to quality health care in some of the hardest to reach corners of the world.
Oasis for Youth
During our back-to-school-themed BBQ, the planning committee asked everyone to donate school supplies to Oasis for Youth, an organization that assists with housing, employment, education and wellness for youth facing homelessness in Twin Cities suburbs.
Donation match
Employees are also encouraged to donate money to an organization of their choice. For every $1 an employee contributes, Brandpoint makes a matching contribution of $4. This means that as much as $500 can be given to one charity.
In 2017, Brandpoint employees gave to 28 different organizations, including animal shelters, health-related foundations, food shelves, educational groups and more. Here’s a better look at where Brandpoint employees gave back this year:
We can’t wait to start giving back in 2018.
Happy holidays from Brandpoint!
